KUALA LUMPUR - Decisions on the elimination of highway toll collection will only be known within two to three months.

Works Minister, Baru Bian said that at the moment, it has received several proposals from the highway concessionaires involved and will evaluate all the proposals before making any decision.

"Nowadays we are still negotiating, looking for a mutually beneficial path to the stakeholders and the new government, what will be decided on the good way that all stakeholders can accept.

"I understand that all stakeholders are positive (economic) to our current position, so they understand that we hope to have mutual understanding and conclusion and best mutual agreement," he said.

He said this after officiating the Man-Hours Without Lost-Time Injury (LTI) Appreciation Ceremony for highway projects under construction, at the Mahkota Cheras City Highway Suspension.
