There has been no decision on the new CEO of Bernama - Gobind Singh.

KUALA LUMPUR - Communications and Multimedia Minister Gobind Singh Deo said there has been no decision taken on the appointment of the new Bernama CEO.
"I will issue a statement. As I have previously mentioned, we have not taken any decision since we are still in the process of considering the merger between the news and RTM newsletters.
"If this merger is to be implemented then we need a team capable of implementing it. It's a very big thing; it involves corporate restructuring; it also involves the merger of the officer."he said when met by reporters after he delivered his keynote address at the Digital Asia Transformation Forum.
Datuk Zulkefli Salleh retired as Bernama CEO last month after completing the previous contract and Editor-in-Chief of the news agency Datuk Zakaria Abd Wahab has now assumed the position of CEO.
Gobind Singh, who was asked about the dispute status between MYTV Broadcasting Sdn Bhd (MYTV) and Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM), said the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) would release a statement about it soon.
"MCMC is currently discussing with MYTV and TM. I think SKMM will issue a statement. He is looking for a solution. I give MCMC the opportunity to resolve this matter and announce the solution. I understand that one decision will be made and announced within this two-week period.
"The discussion is in progress. We have been able to identify the problem. We will try to move forward, "he said.
The minister said the matter had been discussed with Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
