Intermitten Fasting

Intermittent fasting is an eating style where you eat within a specific time period and fast the rest of the time. It is not a diet but more accurately described as an eating pattern. This types of fasting don’t specify which foods you should eat but rather when you should eat them.

The most common method of intermittent fasting involves 16 hours fasts every day. However, there is a method called eat-stop-eat which involves 24 hours fasting done once or twice a week.

Another method is the 5:2 diet where you consume only 500–600 calories on two non-consecutive days of the week but eat normally the other 5 days.
