You are never ready to travel to India but India is always welcoming You

India one of the most historical cities around the globe. The name of it smells like masala and looks like history of ancient sculptures and cultures from the top rack of world history. As a child, I remember being taught to read the fables of India. Sometimes it was about Akhbar and Birbal the other times it was about Jhansi Rani’s Manikarnika. Reading the fables at a very young age have drawn a greatest imagination to me and ever since that I have always wanted to visit the beautiful city of culture, tradition and history. So upon completing my Diploma in Communication, I took myself on a solo travel to India. When I told my friend about it they came up with many clichés. One of my favourite is
“ You are never ready to travel to India but India is always welcoming you”
It left a curious question in me sparking more excitement to travel to India. On June 2018, I took the economic flight to India. Every second since I got on my flight was exciting. I reached India after about 3 hours through Malaysian Airlines. Reaching India was exhilarating. A country, Home to over a billion people, India is a nation of inconsistencies – wind charmers and sacred men wearing undergarments dallying outside web bistros, and a portion of the world's most profound social and religious conventions flourishing in the midst of extraordinary neediness and contamination. Your emotions about India will probably be tangled too. One minute you'll adore it, and the following minute you'll be reviling your train for being 12 hours late or get annoyed with the bad traffics and hygiene. With tolerance, time, and a receptive frame of mind, India will uncover its insider facts to you, and the unpleasant snapshots of voyaging solo in India, will all appear to be justified, despite all the trouble.

My journey begun in Delhi, India's capital and a decent place to gradually acquaint yourself with India's societies and rhythms. Meander through the roads of Old Delhi, and visit the well known Red Fort. Old Delhi's curving rear ways and markets are likewise superb for getting saris, flavours, craftsmanship pieces, and different specialities. On the off chance that you visit just a single gallery in India, look at New Delhi's National Museum, which is stuffed with authentic ancient rarities from India's ongoing and not really later past. New Delhi likewise brags a few India's best eateries and nightlight however wandering out as a component of a gathering will be more secure.
From Delhi, take two or three days for a side trek. Visit Rajasthan, with its shocking urban areas set against an emotional desert scene. Features incorporate Jaipur (the pink city) and Jodhpur (the blue city). The two urban areas offer superb shopping and are extraordinarily photogenic because of their monochromatic old quarters. Jaipur is around 5-6 hours from Delhi, contingent upon whether you take the train or the transport, and Jodhpur is about twice as far. The two urban areas offer a labyrinth of sanctuaries, royal residences, and bazars to investigate.

When you're back in Delhi, you'll have to choose in the event that you need to fan out into northern India or southern India. In the event that northern India calls (the best wager for solo female explorers), my next stop was Agra and the famous love infrastructure The Taj Mahal. In the event that rather you're travelling south from Delhi, you can at present visit the Taj Mahal as a taxing day trip from Delhi before leaving – it's around 3 ½ hours one path via train. As anyone might expect, the Taj Mahal is overwhelmed by voyagers – Indians and non-natives alike. Your most logical option is to visit this fabulous milestone promptly in the first part of the day to beat the groups. Agra could not hope to compare to other Indian urban areas, so it's best to make a brisk stop here and proceed to Varanasi by means of a medium-term train.
Hindus consider Varanasi as one of the holiest urban areas in India, and it is said that in the event that you kick the bucket here, you will promptly be freed from the unending cycle of death and resurrection. A huge number of Indians make a journey here either to bathe in the sacrosanct Ganges, whereupon the city is roosted, or to incinerate a relative. Visiting the old town and meandering through its ghats (steps driving down to the Ganges either to bathe or stylized objects) is serious, pleasant, and not-to-be-missed. It ought to abandon saying, however, don't photo funerals or incinerations, and keep an aware separation. You can sort out pontoon visits onto the Ganges, and Varanasi's everyday evening functions – finish with music, move, and all way of sacred men – are stunning. Varanasi has been one of the scary yet knowledge seeking places. In the river of Ganges you may witness floating deceased dead body and on the other corner you will see a group of saints performing rituals in the river diving back inside the water thrice. It leaves you in confusion at first sight but if you have a tour guide or if you are willing to learn the truth behind it, you will obtain a very vast knowledge about Hinduism.

To achieve the genuine heart of northern India, you'll have to take the medium-term train (or fly) back to Delhi. From Delhi, it's around 7 hours via train or transport to Rishikesh, first made renowned by the Beatles and now considered the yoga capital of India. Rishikesh additionally sits on the Ganges, and you'll locate a wide assortment of yoga courses, reflection retreats, ashrams, and back rub classes accessible to enable you to slow down from the disorder you've likely experienced so far. Be careful – not all yoga and contemplation courses are made equivalent, so do your exploration before joining. For progressively dynamic voyagers, Rishikesh is additionally an incredible place to sort out white water boating excursions and treks into the adjacent Himalayas.
Another feature of northern India is Dharamsala and adjacent McLeod Ganj, home to the Tibetan government estranged abroad. In case you're fortunate, you can get the Dalai Lama while he's home, however, check ahead, as he ventures much of the time. These two towns offer a huge number of commendable volunteer open doors helping the Tibetan displaced person network, and additionally a look into India's Buddhist conventions.
In the event that you truly need to see the Himalayas in their full brilliance, go to Ladakh, in the far northwest. Ladakh is open by street amid the mid-year months, however, you'll have to fly in the winter as the street closes because of overwhelming snow. The Buddhist city of Leh is an incredible base from which to sort out further investigations in Ladakh. The district offers remarkable trekking, social visits, homestays, and a look into hundreds of years old conventions. When all is said in done, Ladakh is likewise one of the more secure territories in India for solo female voyagers.
In the event that southern India's shorelines and fiery dishes are more your style, travel south from Delhi to Goa. Flying is the best decision for this adventure, except if you need to go through various days on the train. Be cautious in Goa – in spite of the fact that it has something of notoriety for being a universal gathering goal, you're still in India. Cautiously see what others are wearing before breaking out your two-piece at the shoreline. When you feel burnt out on sunbathing, close-by Hampi offers a generally tranquil departure. Time appears to have ceased in Hampi, and you'll cherish meandering through the fifteenth century destroys and hopping on the fiercely moulded shake arrangements.
Heading further south, visit Kerala, maybe India's most dynamic state. Voyage the lethargic backwaters among Alleppey and Kollam and on the off chance that you have a gathering and rupees to save, leasing a houseboat is the best approach to go in style. Visit the ashram of Amma, the popular "Embracing Mother," and one of India's couple of female masters. Amma's ashram is in Amritapuri, and likewise, with the Dalai Lama, check her calendar first to ensure that she will be in the home.
On the off chance that you truly need to make tracks in an opposite direction from everything, fly out to the Andaman Islands, highlighting unblemished shorelines, brilliant swimming and jumping openings, and many nearby clans and societies.

This is only a bit of what anticipates you in India; a genuinely committed voyager could consume her entire time on earth investigating the subcontinent and still touch just a small amount of it. Whatever bit of India you do visit, you'll leave away captivated, changed, and happy you embraced the experience!
India is huge, and travel inside the nation can eat up colossal bits of your time. Inner flights are your most logical option for longer legs. Make sure to go via train at any rate once amid your trek – doing as such is a ritual of entry for voyagers in India and a vacation destination in itself. Try not to miss it! For longer voyages, book no less than a sleeper vehicle (and a superior compartment on the off chance that you can manage the cost of it). Bring a lock and bind to anchor your sacks medium-term, and keep resources on your individual. Tickets can go rapidly amid special seasons so plan in like manner. Train stations in most significant urban areas will have a devoted vacationer work area.

Transports are another alternative. Book a visitor transport, particularly for longer adventures, for both well beings and for solace. Tuk-tuk’s and rickshaws are a fun method to go inside urban areas. Set a cost with your driver in advance, or prepare to bargain until you're dry once you touch base at your goal.
On the off chance that you are feeling uncertain about voyaging solo, in some cases taking a visit for part or the majority of your excursion can give you the certainty you require before going only it. I have actually utilized G Adventures and prescribe them as a performance female well-disposed organization. Most visits have a normal of 10 individuals and there is no upper age limit. When you book your trek you pay additional for any outings you need to do when you're there.

Undertakings run from a multi-day Varanasi Independent Adventure to a multi-day Kolkata to Kochi by Rail visit. One of their most well-known visits for performances is the multi-day Rajasthan Adventure which incorporates the Taj Mahal, a visit to the City Palace in Udaipur, and a nightfall camel ride in Pushkar.
From the Airport, Resorthoppa works a modest air terminal transport that will take you from different city air terminals to your inn. There is an excessive number of aeroplane terminals to cover however this too and from the air, the terminal guide gives subtleties of transport from everyone.
To what extent do I require? Three weeks is the base you'll have to see India – and you won't see particularly in this measure of time. Everything in India tends to takes longer than anticipated, so don't surge yourself. Two months will give you enough time to investigate either the north or the south. On the off chance that you need to see the entire nation, give yourself something like a half year.
My trip to India did not disclose every part of it. I have made India my all the time to go destination as the cities are large and there are more to every places to visit and learn. But however my first solo trip was exhilarating, scary but definitely a worthwhile one. Some of the destinations have been quite an eyes opener for myself. Like the cliché in the beginning “ I was not ready perceive India such ways  but India offered my warmth welcome allowing me to seek more about the country. I am pretty sure this is not even quarter of what I have to witness. If the time and opportunity allows, I will return again for yet another trip. But this time, maybe to Southern India.

Kellie's Castle

Back in December last year, I have the chance to visit one of the historical places in Malaysia - Kellie’s Castle. The sole reason I visited the place because I have been through it for a few times in the past every time I am fetching my sister at UiTM Seri Iskandar.

Kellie’s Castle is located in Batu Gajah, which is about a two-hour drive from Kuala Lumpur, and a 30-minute drive from Ipoh town to Jalan Gopeng. You can also take the Electric Train Service from KL to Ipoh.

The unfinished, ruined mansion known as Kellie’s Castle was built by William Kellie Smith, a Scottish planter from Scotland. Smith builds the building as a symbol of love for his beloved wife. Some sources said it is a gift for his son.

The unfinished mansion consists of two houses, which is, Kellas House and Kellie’s House. However, only Kellie’s house was able to finish the constructions before the death of Smith.

The building consists of rooms, wine cellar, elevator shaft and six storey tower. Some of the rooms have been fitted with furniture so you get to see what they would have been like if the construction had been completed.

TOURIST ATTRACTIONS
Kellie's Castle is now a popular local tourist attraction, with some believing it to be haunted situated beside the Raya River (Sungai Raya), which is a small creek to the Kinta River.

From the entrance, you will be greeted by a few stalls selling craft, souvenir, and foods. There will be also huge logo written ‘Kellie Castle right before the entrance to the castle.

To get to the main building visitors have to pay entrance fee which is RM5 for Malaysian adult and have to climb the stairs to reach the main site of the house.

The mansion became tourist attractions because of the architecture and since it is believed to be haunted. Both the castle interior and gardens are also good for taking your pre-wedding shots so it might appeal to couples and photography fans, too.

EXPECTATION VS REALITY
I am not going to lie that I was a little disappointed when I reach the historic site. It is good enough because the place not just become the hot attraction for Malaysian but also foreign tourist. What disappointed me was the place did not maintain very well.

Yes, I agree that it is a historic place and perhaps one of the reason the authority keeping in that way was to make visitors feel the horror atmosphere because the castle is associated with many ghost stories. Aside from being mentioned in the history books, there is nothing much to see in the mansion itself. With lots of spider web in every single room and some of the areas such as the living room where people cannot access, there is nothing more.

Be The Light by One Ok Rock

The song is tribute to the Tohoko Tsunami in 2011 to give hope for those affected by the disasters. Hope you will enjoy the song and take time to value everyone in your life.

Just the thought of another day
How did we end up this way
What did we do wrong?
God

Even though the days go on
So far, so far away from
It seems so close

Always weighing on my shoulder
A time like no other
It all changed on that day
Sadness and so much pain

You can touch the sorrow here
I don’t know what to blame
I just watch and watch again
O...

Even though the days go on
So far, so far away from
It seems so close

Even though the days go on
So far, so far away from
It seems so close

What did it leave behind?
What did it take from us and wash away?
It may be long
But with our hearts start a new
And keep it up and not give up
With our heads held high

You have seen hell and made it back again
How to forget? We can’t forget
The lives that were lost along the way
And then you realize that wherever you go
There you are
Time won’t stop
So we keep moving on

Yesterday’s night turns to light
Tomorrow’s night returns to light
O... Be the light

Always weighing on my shoulder
A time like no other
It all changed on that day
Sadness and so much pain

Anyone can close their eyes
Pretend that nothing is wrong
Open your eyes
And look for light
O...

What did it leave behind?
What did it take from us and wash away?
It may be long
But with our hearts start a new
And keep it up and not give up
With our heads held high

Yeah, yeah...

You have seen hell and made it back again
How to forget? We can’t forget
The lives that were lost along the way
And then you realize that wherever you go
There you are
Time won’t stop
So we keep moving on

Yesterday’s night turns to light
Tomorrow’s night returns to light
O... Be the light

Some days just pass by and
Some days are unforgettable
We can’t choose the reason why
But we can choose what to do from the day after
So with that hope, with that determination
Let’s make tomorrow a brighter and better day

O...
Yeah...
O...
Yeah... Yeah...
Uh Ooo...
