You are never ready to travel to India but India is always welcoming You

India one of the most historical cities around the globe. The name of it smells like masala and looks like history of ancient sculptures and cultures from the top rack of world history. As a child, I remember being taught to read the fables of India. Sometimes it was about Akhbar and Birbal the other times it was about Jhansi Rani’s Manikarnika. Reading the fables at a very young age have drawn a greatest imagination to me and ever since that I have always wanted to visit the beautiful city of culture, tradition and history. So upon completing my Diploma in Communication, I took myself on a solo travel to India. When I told my friend about it they came up with many clichés. One of my favourite is
“ You are never ready to travel to India but India is always welcoming you”
It left a curious question in me sparking more excitement to travel to India. On June 2018, I took the economic flight to India. Every second since I got on my flight was exciting. I reached India after about 3 hours through Malaysian Airlines. Reaching India was exhilarating. A country, Home to over a billion people, India is a nation of inconsistencies – wind charmers and sacred men wearing undergarments dallying outside web bistros, and a portion of the world's most profound social and religious conventions flourishing in the midst of extraordinary neediness and contamination. Your emotions about India will probably be tangled too. One minute you'll adore it, and the following minute you'll be reviling your train for being 12 hours late or get annoyed with the bad traffics and hygiene. With tolerance, time, and a receptive frame of mind, India will uncover its insider facts to you, and the unpleasant snapshots of voyaging solo in India, will all appear to be justified, despite all the trouble.

My journey begun in Delhi, India's capital and a decent place to gradually acquaint yourself with India's societies and rhythms. Meander through the roads of Old Delhi, and visit the well known Red Fort. Old Delhi's curving rear ways and markets are likewise superb for getting saris, flavours, craftsmanship pieces, and different specialities. On the off chance that you visit just a single gallery in India, look at New Delhi's National Museum, which is stuffed with authentic ancient rarities from India's ongoing and not really later past. New Delhi likewise brags a few India's best eateries and nightlight however wandering out as a component of a gathering will be more secure.
From Delhi, take two or three days for a side trek. Visit Rajasthan, with its shocking urban areas set against an emotional desert scene. Features incorporate Jaipur (the pink city) and Jodhpur (the blue city). The two urban areas offer superb shopping and are extraordinarily photogenic because of their monochromatic old quarters. Jaipur is around 5-6 hours from Delhi, contingent upon whether you take the train or the transport, and Jodhpur is about twice as far. The two urban areas offer a labyrinth of sanctuaries, royal residences, and bazars to investigate.

When you're back in Delhi, you'll have to choose in the event that you need to fan out into northern India or southern India. In the event that northern India calls (the best wager for solo female explorers), my next stop was Agra and the famous love infrastructure The Taj Mahal. In the event that rather you're travelling south from Delhi, you can at present visit the Taj Mahal as a taxing day trip from Delhi before leaving – it's around 3 ½ hours one path via train. As anyone might expect, the Taj Mahal is overwhelmed by voyagers – Indians and non-natives alike. Your most logical option is to visit this fabulous milestone promptly in the first part of the day to beat the groups. Agra could not hope to compare to other Indian urban areas, so it's best to make a brisk stop here and proceed to Varanasi by means of a medium-term train.
Hindus consider Varanasi as one of the holiest urban areas in India, and it is said that in the event that you kick the bucket here, you will promptly be freed from the unending cycle of death and resurrection. A huge number of Indians make a journey here either to bathe in the sacrosanct Ganges, whereupon the city is roosted, or to incinerate a relative. Visiting the old town and meandering through its ghats (steps driving down to the Ganges either to bathe or stylized objects) is serious, pleasant, and not-to-be-missed. It ought to abandon saying, however, don't photo funerals or incinerations, and keep an aware separation. You can sort out pontoon visits onto the Ganges, and Varanasi's everyday evening functions – finish with music, move, and all way of sacred men – are stunning. Varanasi has been one of the scary yet knowledge seeking places. In the river of Ganges you may witness floating deceased dead body and on the other corner you will see a group of saints performing rituals in the river diving back inside the water thrice. It leaves you in confusion at first sight but if you have a tour guide or if you are willing to learn the truth behind it, you will obtain a very vast knowledge about Hinduism.

To achieve the genuine heart of northern India, you'll have to take the medium-term train (or fly) back to Delhi. From Delhi, it's around 7 hours via train or transport to Rishikesh, first made renowned by the Beatles and now considered the yoga capital of India. Rishikesh additionally sits on the Ganges, and you'll locate a wide assortment of yoga courses, reflection retreats, ashrams, and back rub classes accessible to enable you to slow down from the disorder you've likely experienced so far. Be careful – not all yoga and contemplation courses are made equivalent, so do your exploration before joining. For progressively dynamic voyagers, Rishikesh is additionally an incredible place to sort out white water boating excursions and treks into the adjacent Himalayas.
Another feature of northern India is Dharamsala and adjacent McLeod Ganj, home to the Tibetan government estranged abroad. In case you're fortunate, you can get the Dalai Lama while he's home, however, check ahead, as he ventures much of the time. These two towns offer a huge number of commendable volunteer open doors helping the Tibetan displaced person network, and additionally a look into India's Buddhist conventions.
In the event that you truly need to see the Himalayas in their full brilliance, go to Ladakh, in the far northwest. Ladakh is open by street amid the mid-year months, however, you'll have to fly in the winter as the street closes because of overwhelming snow. The Buddhist city of Leh is an incredible base from which to sort out further investigations in Ladakh. The district offers remarkable trekking, social visits, homestays, and a look into hundreds of years old conventions. When all is said in done, Ladakh is likewise one of the more secure territories in India for solo female voyagers.
In the event that southern India's shorelines and fiery dishes are more your style, travel south from Delhi to Goa. Flying is the best decision for this adventure, except if you need to go through various days on the train. Be cautious in Goa – in spite of the fact that it has something of notoriety for being a universal gathering goal, you're still in India. Cautiously see what others are wearing before breaking out your two-piece at the shoreline. When you feel burnt out on sunbathing, close-by Hampi offers a generally tranquil departure. Time appears to have ceased in Hampi, and you'll cherish meandering through the fifteenth century destroys and hopping on the fiercely moulded shake arrangements.
Heading further south, visit Kerala, maybe India's most dynamic state. Voyage the lethargic backwaters among Alleppey and Kollam and on the off chance that you have a gathering and rupees to save, leasing a houseboat is the best approach to go in style. Visit the ashram of Amma, the popular "Embracing Mother," and one of India's couple of female masters. Amma's ashram is in Amritapuri, and likewise, with the Dalai Lama, check her calendar first to ensure that she will be in the home.
On the off chance that you truly need to make tracks in an opposite direction from everything, fly out to the Andaman Islands, highlighting unblemished shorelines, brilliant swimming and jumping openings, and many nearby clans and societies.

This is only a bit of what anticipates you in India; a genuinely committed voyager could consume her entire time on earth investigating the subcontinent and still touch just a small amount of it. Whatever bit of India you do visit, you'll leave away captivated, changed, and happy you embraced the experience!
India is huge, and travel inside the nation can eat up colossal bits of your time. Inner flights are your most logical option for longer legs. Make sure to go via train at any rate once amid your trek – doing as such is a ritual of entry for voyagers in India and a vacation destination in itself. Try not to miss it! For longer voyages, book no less than a sleeper vehicle (and a superior compartment on the off chance that you can manage the cost of it). Bring a lock and bind to anchor your sacks medium-term, and keep resources on your individual. Tickets can go rapidly amid special seasons so plan in like manner. Train stations in most significant urban areas will have a devoted vacationer work area.

Transports are another alternative. Book a visitor transport, particularly for longer adventures, for both well beings and for solace. Tuk-tuk’s and rickshaws are a fun method to go inside urban areas. Set a cost with your driver in advance, or prepare to bargain until you're dry once you touch base at your goal.
On the off chance that you are feeling uncertain about voyaging solo, in some cases taking a visit for part or the majority of your excursion can give you the certainty you require before going only it. I have actually utilized G Adventures and prescribe them as a performance female well-disposed organization. Most visits have a normal of 10 individuals and there is no upper age limit. When you book your trek you pay additional for any outings you need to do when you're there.

Undertakings run from a multi-day Varanasi Independent Adventure to a multi-day Kolkata to Kochi by Rail visit. One of their most well-known visits for performances is the multi-day Rajasthan Adventure which incorporates the Taj Mahal, a visit to the City Palace in Udaipur, and a nightfall camel ride in Pushkar.
From the Airport, Resorthoppa works a modest air terminal transport that will take you from different city air terminals to your inn. There is an excessive number of aeroplane terminals to cover however this too and from the air, the terminal guide gives subtleties of transport from everyone.
To what extent do I require? Three weeks is the base you'll have to see India – and you won't see particularly in this measure of time. Everything in India tends to takes longer than anticipated, so don't surge yourself. Two months will give you enough time to investigate either the north or the south. On the off chance that you need to see the entire nation, give yourself something like a half year.
My trip to India did not disclose every part of it. I have made India my all the time to go destination as the cities are large and there are more to every places to visit and learn. But however my first solo trip was exhilarating, scary but definitely a worthwhile one. Some of the destinations have been quite an eyes opener for myself. Like the cliché in the beginning “ I was not ready perceive India such ways  but India offered my warmth welcome allowing me to seek more about the country. I am pretty sure this is not even quarter of what I have to witness. If the time and opportunity allows, I will return again for yet another trip. But this time, maybe to Southern India.

Venezuala Humanitarian Crisis Infographic

EXHIBITION: VENEZUELA HUMANITARIAN CRISIS (TO HELP OR TO HELD) -k

Pic 1: Nicolas Maduro

Venezuela humanitarian crisis started after Nicolas Maduro came to power in 2014.

The country is rich in oil. It has the largest proven oil reserves in the world making their gas’s prices the cheapest amongst other countries. However, it is arguably that this exact that holds many of its economic problems.

The richness sources of oil makes Venezuela to seem never bothered to produce other commodities. They import the goods Venezuelans want and need from abroad using the earnings from exporting oils. 95% of Venezuela’s earning comes from the oil exportation.

Hence, when the oil prices drop rapidly in 2014, it faced with a shortfall of foreign currency where the humanitarian crisis began at Venezuela. Sinking foreign currency made it difficult to import goods at the same level as before, and imported items became scarcer.

As a result, businesses increased goods prices especially in the black market and inflation rose. Five years straight of brutal recession, leads to dangerous shortages of essential goods and the hyperinflation of Venezuelan bolivar reaching 1 million per cent. Only 26 days taken to double the goods price.

To solve the problem, the government print more money which actually drives down its value. Currently, 1 USD equal to 248,000 Venezuelan Bolivars(VEF). However, the goods prices keep rising even though the government regularly increase the minimum wage, and implementing price controls on certain products. Poverty keeps on rising.

The downfall of foreign currency is not the only problem Venezuela’s facing, U.S. putting the country under pressure by imposing sanctions. But, Maduro still ruling.

On February 2018, Venezuela officially launched the pre-sale of its new digital currency called the petro. According to the government, the petro is backed by oil, gas, gold and diamonds, and is meant to help overcome U.S. and EU sanctions.

As a respond to that, President Donald Trump signed an executive order barring any U.S. based financial transactions involving Venezuela's new crypto-currency as U.S. officials warned that it was a ‘scam’.

Meanwhile, Socialist President Nicolas Maduro blamed the United States and other countries for starting an “economic war” against the country. He has accused the United States of plotting to invade Venezuela and overthrow his government, while Washington has placed sanctions on Venezuela's debt and members of Maduro's government over accusations of corruption, human rights violations and election-rigging.

Imagine in 2017 alone, 64% of Venezuelans lost weight, losing 25 pounds on average due to food shortages and an inability to pay for food. About a quarter of the population does not eat three times a day, and 82% lived in poverty as of 2017.[1] People are dying from shortages of food and medicine.

The conditions in hospitals and clinics are extremely bad. Those who are undergoing chemotherapy, requires an emergency surgery, or even have a sinus infection are at risk of not receiving proper health care due to the crisis.

According to Reuters, infant mortality increased to 30% in 2016, and cases of malaria surged by 76%. The government has even resorted to rationing electricity and water, giving varied excuses but did not taking any responsibility for the issue. This has caused outages throughout the country, some lasting between an hour or as long as 13 days.

These power outages further complicate medical care for those who need it most, disrupting the already weak medical assistance they receive and making it worse. Imagine not being able to shower for multiple days in a row, relying on candlelight to see in your home, or not having access to the Internet. This has become a common occurrence for Venezuelans.

Almost 3 million children are missing some or all of their classes due to the crisis. Some of these children are dying of starvation and suffering from severe cases of malnutrition, which inherently affects their ability to learn in school.

Many public schools have closed due to a lack of government funds. In the week leading up to the presidential election in May last year, the Venezuelan government closed schools to prepare them to serve as voting centre. It is expected that a generation of Venezuelan children will be impacted by high levels of illiteracy.

The conditions have deteriorated across universities as well, with restrooms being out of order, computer rooms having no computers, and research budgets being slashed. Students are simply not finishing their education, many opting to leave the country for a better life instead of gaining their degrees. Hence, professors are also leaving in a mass exodus for better wages in other parts of the world, creating a shortage of educators.

2.3 million Venezuelan refugees already left the country since 2014, almost 8 per cent from overall population, 32.4 million people.

Pic 3: Colombian police officers stand in front of people lining up to try to cross into Colombia from Venezuela through Simon Bolivar International Bridge

Trump spoke forcefully at the United Nations General Assembly in September 2018, calling the humanitarian crisis in Venezuela as “human tragedy”.

According to a Brookings Institution study, 8.2 million Venezuelan including the 3 million that have already left will flee the country over the next two to three years. Luis Almagro, secretary general of the 34-nation Organization of American States predicts that the Venezuelan exodus may be even larger than estimated in the Brookings report.

“I think that the 8.2 million figures may end up being too low, considering the magnitude of Venezuela’s crisis, there may be up to 10 million Venezuelans who will have to abandon that country over the next four years,”[1] he said.

That would be a much larger migration disaster than the Syrian refugee crisis that have shaken the European Union, and that contributed to the rise of right-wing anti-immigrate governments and political parties across Europe. It certainly would be an unprecedented mass exodus in Latin America in recent times.

Venezuela President Nicolas Maduro may not get away with it easily. There is no way that Colombia, Brazil and other countries in the neighbourhood will agree to absorb 8 million to 10 million Venezuelan refugees, barring a massive package of international aid that unsurely will come anytime soon. Many of Colombia’s schools and hospitals are already overcrowded.

This Venezuela’s humanitarian crisis will directly or indirectly hurt every country in the region. It will be, by far, Latin America’s most urgent problem. Countries such as Mexico and Spain, which have suggested that they will not join international diplomatic efforts to restore democracy in Venezuela, will not be able to remain on the side lines.

Noting that 2 million Venezuelans have escaped ‘the anguish inflicted by the socialist Maduro’s regime’ Trump asked world leaders to join forces and seek the restoration of democracy in Venezuela.

However, despite Trump’s statements of empathy for Venezuelan refugees, they were not exempts from his administration’s immigration crackdown. Trump closing borders from getting refugees through Colombia. Nearly 260 Venezuelans were deported from the U.S. in the first half of 2018 alone, up from 248 deportations in all 2017 and 182 in 2016.

Even though Vice President Pence’s recognized that ‘violence and tyranny’ rule the country, Venezuelans are routinely denied political asylum. Over the past five years, immigration judges have rejected nearly 50 per cent of all Venezuelan asylum applications.

Venezuelans now represent the biggest group of asylum seekers in the U.S., surpassing Central Americans in 2016. Last year Venezuelan refugees filed 27,629 asylum claims, more than 10 times the 2,181 petitions made in 2014.

Immigration attorneys in Miami say the U.S. consulate there has also been revoking tourist visas from Venezuelans, and the federal government has drastically reduced the number of non-immigrant visas issued to Venezuelans, from 239,772 in 2015 to 47,942 last year.

According to scholars, Trump’s Venezuela policy shows that his administration is doing much less that it could to ease Venezuelans’ suffering.

The U.S. will allocate an additional 48 million USD in humanitarian aid to fund U.S. agencies that are providing disaster and food relief to Venezuelan migrants in Latin America. Added to the 46.8 million already earmarked as humanitarian aid for Venezuelan refugees, total 94.8 million U.S. foreign aid for the South American nation. It is 14 million higher compared to 2017. But even with the big boost, foreign assistance for Venezuela is just a fraction of the 475 million given last year to Colombia and only slightly higher than the Latin America regional average of 62 million in annual aid.

Eleven nations in the region including refugee-saturated Brazil and Colombia, recently agreed to accept more Venezuelans without excluding those with expired documents. Many Venezuelans cannot get a passport or renew their national identity cards because of the Maduro regime’s slow, dysfunctional and corrupt bureaucracy.

The White House’s failure to act on Venezuela has not stopped Trump from using its crisis for electoral gain in November’s midterm elections. He wrote in an Oct.10 USA Today op-ed saying the new Democrats are radical socialists who want to model America’s economy after Venezuela. He insisted that these Democrats want to shut down American energy and replace freedom with socialism.

The war between the Us and OPEC on determining the oil price.

Petroleum or oil price in layman language, is one of the important source of daily basis. Malaysia is also a producer of this oil but not as large as other country. We are a very small oil producer. This oil is very important until it became a very large business and a very large source of income to the large producers. Basically the price of this oil will be determine by an organization called OPEC, to avoid the imbalance and unfair dealing. OPEC stands for The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) is a permanent, intergovernmental Organization, was founded in Baghdad, Iraq, with the signing of an agreement in September 1960 by five countries namely Islamic Republic of Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Venezuela. They were to become the Founder Members of the Organization.
These countries were later joined by Libya , the United Arab Emirates, Algeria, Nigeria , Gabon , Angola , Equatorial Guinea  and Congo. This means that, currently, the Organization has a total of 14 Member Countries.
OPEC's objective is to co-ordinate and unify petroleum policies among Member Countries, in order to secure fair and stable prices for petroleum producers; an efficient, economic and regular supply of petroleum to consuming nations; and a fair return on capital to those investing in the industry.
Up until the middle of the 20th century, the United States was the largest producer of oil and controlled oil prices. But now its seem like the US is not the largest producer anymore and also can’t control the prices of oil. And now the prices of the oil are on rise which make the president chair hot.

The price of the oil today are on the top of hill. It may a positive move on the side of the producer but as a consumer for daily basis just like you and me, it is definitely a rising burden. Oil is became one of the daily uses in today’s live as the world to moving forward to the technology way.
The United State was the first extracted oil user which lay them the power of pricing the oil. At that time the US was the largest producer of oil in the world. In general, oil prices were volatile and high during the early years because economies of scale during extraction and refining were not present.  The price fell by more than 60% over the next 5 years and rose by 50% during the next 5 years.
However then, the supply and demand for oil rose additionally with the discovery of oil in Iran in 1908 and Saudi Arabia during the 1930s and World War I, respectively. The use of oil in weaponry and the subsequent European coal shortage further ratcheted demand for oil, and prices came crashing down to $40 in today's terms. Meantime, in response to U.S. support for Israel during the Yom Kippur War, OPEC and Iran stopped oil supplies to the United States. The crisis had far-reaching effects on oil prices. They have remained at high levels since. OPEC controls oil prices through its pricing-over-volume strategy.
Now currently the pricing the oil is on the hands of OPEC, which the prices are on rising, and poking the US. Although the organization’s charter doesn’t state this explicitly, fix prices but, by restricting production OPEC could force oil prices to rise, and thereby theoretically enjoy greater profits than if its member countries had each sold on the world market at the going rate. Throughout the 1970s and much of the 1980s, this was a sound if immoral strategy for OPEC.
According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration, OPEC member countries often exceed their quotas, selling a few million extra barrels and knowing that enforcers can’t really stop them from doing so. With Canada, China, Russia and the United States as non-members, OPEC is limited in its ability to, as its mission euphemistically states, “ensure the stabilization of oil markets in order to secure an efficient, economic and regular supply of petroleum to consumers.”

They say the best of all gifts around any Christmas tree is the presence of a happy family all wrapped up in each other. Wishing you a very Merry Christmas surrounded by your precious family, and many blessings for the coming year.

Volcano collapsed in Indonesia, triggered Tsunami.

INDONESIA: The deadly tsunami in Indonesia was triggered by a chunk of the Anak Krakatau volcano slipping into the ocean, officials have confirmed, amid calls for a new early warning system that can detect volcanic eruptions.
At least 373 people were killed and many buildings were heavily damaged when the tsunami struck, almost without warning, along the rim of the Sunda Strait between Java and Sumatra islands late on Saturday.
Anak Krakatau had been spewing ash and lava for months before a 64-hectare (158-acre) section of its south-west side collapsed, an Indonesian official said. “This caused an underwater landslide and eventually caused the tsunami,” said Dwikorita Karnawati, the head of the meteorological agency.
Sutopo Purwo Nugroho, the chief spokesman for the Indonesian disaster agency, said the country had no early warning system for landslides or volcanic eruptions. “The current early warning system is for earthquake activity,” he wrote on his Twitter.
“Indonesia must build an early warning system for tsunamis that are generated by underwater landslides and volcanic eruptions.”  Sutopo said.
“They need to be rebuilt to strengthen the Indonesian tsunami early warning system.

Spotify to launch in India within six months.

LOS ANGELES: Recently Spotify announced that it’s launching in 13 new markets in the Middle East and North Africa, bringing its service to 78 markets in total, Variety has learned that a launch in India is expected as soon as the next six months and will offer an extended free trial period – longer than the 30 days of full-access Spotify offered in Vietnam and South Africa earlier this year.

According to Sweden’s Di Digital, plans to buy an Indian competitor have failed to materialise, so Spotify will enter the market of more than 1 billion on its own.

That Spotify is eyeing the region is hardly surprising. For years, the company has been making noises about launching in India and announced in March, just ahead of its public listing, that it has opened an office in Mumbai and hired 300 people.

Indeed, office bearers doing the ground work out of a space in the Bandra Kurla Complex business district have been buzzing about a launch that could come as soon as the next six months, according to local insiders.

The Barcelona superstar will eventually make an international return.

Lionel Messi will return to the Argentina fold at some stage, according to Diego Maradona.

Americans vote in midterms seen as referendum on Trump

Image result for 1. Americans vote in midterms seen as referendum on Trump

Washington: Americans go to the polls Tuesday in midterm elections framed by both parties as a referendum on Donald Trump's presidency and a battle for the soul of the nation.
"In a sense, I am on the ticket," Trump said at a rally late Monday. He also warned of "illegal voting," reviving unsubstantiated allegations he made after the 2016 elections.
Voters found that Democrats go into the vote with a 13-point advantage over Republicans on the question of who should control Congress, a slightly wider gap than shown in two other national polls released a day earlier. Lifted by overwhelming support among women,
Democrats had the backing of 55 percent of voters on who should control Congress, while 42 percent wanted Republicans to remain the majority party.  Republicans are considered likely to keep control of the Senate.
