Malaysia VS Japan Match postponed.




An AFC U-16 Championship match between Malaysia and Japan has been postponed to Thursday.

Originally scheduled to kick off at on Wednesday at 4.30 pm but due to poor weather at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium as well as the UM Arena Stadium, where another Group A match between Thailand and Tajikistan was supposed to take place, forced the postponement for safety reasons.

The Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) confirmed that both matches, which need to kick off at the same time due to being the final group matches, will be played at 11am tomorrow.

For the Malaysia vs Japan match, fans can re-enter the stadium with their ticket stubs.

Currently third in Group A, Malaysia need a win against Japan or a draw provided Thailand lose to Tajikistan to progress to the quarter-finals.

The four teams to reach the semi-finals will qualify for the FIFA U-17 World Cup.

The FAM announced that entry will be free for the rescheduled Malaysia vs Japan match.

Akram is optimistic of Cheng Hoe's coaching.



Head coach Tan Cheng Hoe was once again billed to ensure a comfortable supply was achieved in the first leg semi-final of the AFF Cup 2018 at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium on Saturday.

Harimau Malaya's centerpiece, Akram Mahinan is convinced Cheng Hoe, who is also his former coach when in Kedah, has a 'magical' touch to ensure Malaysia is capable of overcoming the War Elephant squad at the meeting.

So, he hopes his teammates will follow Cheng Hoe's instructions that are expected to make some changes in the game.

Malaysia faces a tough squad after being scheduled against Thailand's defending champion in the AFF Cup semi-final campaign this time.

Thailand advanced to the semi-finals after a 3-0 friendly win over Singapore in the last group B match at the Rajamangala Stadium in Bangkok, thus winning the group's champions.

Malaysia clinched the semi-final as Group A runner-up after a 3-0 win over Myanmar in the last leg of the group at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium on Saturday.

The second semi-final match took place in Bangkok on 5 December.

Mary Kom to World Boxing Championships final.



NEW DELHI: The girl who has laid the path for women boxing in India and probably all around the world MC Mary Kom, is just one step away from becoming the most successful women’s World Champion.
Before the 10th AIBA Women’s World Boxing Champions got underway, Mary was level on five titles with another pathbreaker, Katie Taylor, but win on Saturday evening the Indian legend will mark a fresh chapter with an achieve sixth World crown. 
“ This girl I had beaten in final at Asian Championships last year. That time it was one-sided but every boxer learns something from wins as well as losses. That is how you improve myself. This boxer also learned about me, same thing I also did for her,” the 35-year-old mother of three said after her win on Thursday.
Mary, who won the World Championships back in 2010, will face Ukarainian Hanna Okhota in the final on Saturday

Messi, 31, last played for his nation at the World Cup in Russia and will miss their upcoming friendlies against Mexico.

La Albiceleste fared poorly at the showpiece event, losing 3-0 to Croatia and drawing with Iceland in the group stages, before being knocked out by eventual winners France in the round of 16.
